Mark Ruf Memorial Class

ATTENTION ALL 466 Hot Farm Pullers from BSTP and Tri State Pullers:

We will be honoring long time puller and friend of Whatssmokin Promotions & our events held at Gordyville USA. During the 2026 Midwest Spring Nationals, March 5-7, the 9,500 466 Hot Farm Class will be the Mark Ruf Memorial. We are hoping to honor one of the most recongizable guys in the pits for anyone who ever attend previous events at Gordyville or around the Midwest!

We are calling on any 466 Hot Farm competitors to help us with this endevor, especailly any BSTP hot farms to make this a special event for the Ruf family. For those that do not know the story, Mark was sitting on a battery charger in the pits, but the battery charger couldn't take no more. The wheels fell off and down Mark went. The winner Saturday night will recieve a battery charger in Mark's name. Qualifier for the 9500 466 Hot Farms will be session 1, Thursday Night March 5th. Finals will be Session 5, Saturday March 7th.

We want to thank the Ruf family for allowing us to honor Mark. He will be greatly missed in the pits during the Spring Nationals, but we know he will still be with us laughing and making jokes all weekend long!
